Original Cottages: National Hot Tub Day 2019

Holiday cottages with hot tubs - Lookers Legacy

March 2019

Original Cottages has ‘deep dived’ into the stats to discover that enquiries for cottages with hot tubs have risen 30% year on year.

To celebrate National Hot Tub Day on Thursday March 28th, we’re sharing three of our favourite cottages with tubs that also come with magnificent views.

The Lookers Legacy is a beautifully renovated traditional brick Lookers Hut surrounded by peaceful countryside next to a vineyard.  Lookers would use these huts as their accommodation whilst caring for their flocks. This pet-friendly property is nestled in a tranquil spot. Double bi-folds open onto a secluded terrace with stunning far reaching views over Romney Marsh and a cosy wood burning stove chases away the chill on winter evenings.

N8, The Warren, on the Llyn Peninsula in Abersoch is perched right on the beach with striking contemporary interior and a sunken hot tub. First class views stretch out over the long sandy Warren beach, Abersoch harbour, St Tudwals Islands, Llanbedrog headland and Snowdonia beyond. The views can be enjoyed from the outdoors daybed or the hot tub on the huge terrace. Decisions, decisions!

The seriously luxurious Hobbit House is built in the grounds of a stunning vineyard by a female Brazilian winemaker in the shires of Sussex. The Hobbit House is nestled into the bank within a line of ancient oak trees with fantastic views. Outside, there’s an enclosed cottage garden with terrace area, hot tub with glorious views. Guests can access a landing stage for kayaks on to the river via a footpath across the farm. Nearby there are walks along the river to Bodiam Castle, the Rother Valley steam railway, cycling at Bedgebury, and visits to Rye, Winchelsea and the beach at Camber.
